Air-conditioning of office rooms
Taclík, Jakub ; Toma, Róbert (referee) ; Fišer, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to design the air conditioning system for one floor of the offices. The thesis is divided into theoretical, computational and design part. The computational part consists in determining the amount of ventilation air, calculation of heat losses, heat gains and psychrometric calculations for summer and winter season. Based on the calculated values, air ducts, end-points and air-conditioning units are designed. The diploma thesis is supplemented with a list of materials and drawing documentation.
Warm Air Heating
Bečica, Radek ; Košner, Jan (referee) ; Janotková, Eva (advisor)
The introduction describes the basic information about warm air heating and general recommendations for using this type of heating. The next chapter contents a summary of the advantages and disadvantages of warm air heating. The following chapters deal with the main elements of the whole system. There is also pointed out the difference between radiant and convective heat transfer. At the end of this thesis there is shown an overview of warm air heating systems used for last years. Last part tells about prospects of warm air heating according author’s opinion.
Cleaning of ventilation systems and potential energy savings
Lapáček, Milan ; Rubina, Aleš (referee) ; Máša, Vítězslav (advisor)
The main aim of this thesis is to explore fouling of air ducts and its influence on energy consumption of HVAC systems. The first part focuses on typical parts that create the IAQ in buildings and on evaluating energy consumption of air transportation. The following section deals with the theories of fluid flow, flow regimes and pressure losses that are created as a side effect. The thesis outlines possible methods of assessing the impact of pollution with an emphasis on pressure losses and their influence on the fan power consumption. The actual experimental measurement, conducted in a selected industrial plant, is focused on an influence of cleanness of textile diffuser on HVAC device power consumption. For the further research of this process, measuring equipment with suitable measurement method is designed and constructed.
Microbiological hazards in HVAC systems and possibilities of their elimination
Gruber, Jan ; Charvát, Pavel (referee) ; Kolbábek, Antonín (advisor)
This thesis deals with HVAC systems and describes some of their the basic parts. There are mentioned the most important microbiological hazards, which can occur in different parts, such as bacteria, viruses and molds. The last part of the thesis deals with possibilities of maintenance and cleaning of HVAC systems. They are needed to prevent microbes to grow and to provide failure-free operation.
Air-conditioning of office rooms
Šmejdová, Jaroslava ; Košner, Jan (referee) ; Janotková, Eva (advisor)
Diploma thesis is focused on the design and dimensioning of the central air-condition system of the offices in two-story building. The thesis consists of a theoretical part which deals with air- condition systems, and computation and design part. The computation part is comprised of calculation of quantity of ventilation air, calculation of heat losses and heat gains and psychrometric evaluation of operation during summer and winter. Design part consists of design and dimensioning of air-distriutions and air ducts and consist of design of air-conditioner and machine room. There are specification of materials and drawing documentation in the end of thesis.
